Education is certainly a vital field, because almost everything in civilization is determined by education. I saw that on a website someplace -- a non-profit organization in the Philippines. Teachers gives their very best at their craft (the majority of them, anyway). But there are a few who seem to have a gift to inspire. My senior high school world history teacher was one of those. She had lived in China as a kid. When she taught in Rockville, Maryland, you could actually feel the wisdom of all her experience. She didn't have us memorize dates. Which had been the first brilliant thing I had been told by a history tutor. What she said next took the subject several magnitudes higher in value. She wanted us to know the motivations of history -- the deeply visceral, human aspects of what can somewhat be a deadly dry subject. Jaime Escalante of "Stand and Deliver" fame, dared to dream big. Calculus for the typically dropout crowd? Pushing them to go on to college? Wow. And I have this publication called, "Calculus Made Easy," by Sylvanus P. Thompson, first published in 1910. It's been through lots of printings all to generate an easy subject simple. What can we do to create more teachers who inspire world-changing superiority? Einstein once said that imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge can provide the inspiration. Imagination can take you to the stars. Don't our children ought to get better?

Easily, the article is in reality a laudable contribution to this devasting oil problem. Although I do not agree with some minor points in general Im fully on your way. I am looking forward to approaching development, which hopefully brings a solution and stops the pollution.

"Which brings us to Mr. Obama, who got his start as a Chicago "community organizer" at Acorn's side. In 1992 he led voter registration efforts as the director of Project Vote, which included Acorn. This past November, he lauded Acorn's leaders for being "smack dab in the middle" of that effort. Mr. Obama also served as a lawyer for Acorn in 1995, in a case against Illinois to increase access to the polls.

During his tenure on the board of Chicago's Woods Fund, that body funneled more than $200,000 to Acorn. More recently, the Obama campaign paid $832,000 to an Acorn affiliate. The campaign initially told the Federal Election Commission this money was for "staging, sound, lighting." It later admitted the cash was to get out the vote."

You have to pay close attention because Obama makes a habit of using these two phrases alternately:

"No new taxes for those earning under $250K."
"A tax cut for those earning under $200K."

Essentially, those between $200K and $250K will see their taxes unchanged. Those above that group will see the Bush tax cuts rolled back and those below that group will get a bigger tax cut.

You know - if the federal government would stop playing head games on people and open up about their role in the drug trade and the real reasons why drug czars will never succeed with their Colombian war; we could all get on with the business of taxing these billions of dollars in drug money on the up and up, and let the people who actually do drugs self-incinerate.

They'd be helping them out AND could pay off the national deficit in about 2-3 years with the taxes on that trade alone. Just give the idiots a certain place to do their legalized drugs away from the rest of us and collect the taxes at the front door.

You know the DA who tried to prosecute Ayers somewhere around Obama’s 8th birthday said that the link is illogical and makes no sense (--like we needed him to tell us that, huh?--). And he also mentioned the fact that Ayers was never convicted because of technicalities--pretty much similar to the "planted and tainted evidence" that OJ got in 1995.

When Obama was “paling around” with Ayers, so was everybody else in the room with them WHO HAD BEEN INVITED TO THE DINNER...some of whom were staunch conservative Republicans of their own ilk.

If they really want to “get” Obama, they should try reaching. For the truth. Things like he’s not the same color as Bush or McCain. That would be true. Other things like, he doesn’t travel in their elitist circles -- that would be true. Things like he's of mixed ancestry -- you know, all the things conservatives usually hate about human beings who aren't like them.

They may discover there’s nothing there, but Halloween is Friday night.

Let’s see what other ghosts, goblins and spooks about Obama they can wrestle up between now and then. This is starting to sound like the Nutbush Comedy Hour.
