Easily, the article is in reality a laudable contribution to this devasting oil problem. Although I do not agree with some minor points in general Im fully on your way. I am looking forward to approaching development, which hopefully brings a solution and stops the pollution.

[...] As we noted before in Palin’s false claim Obama was against energy production, Obama offers conditional support for offshore drilling: “My interest is in making sure we’ve got the kind of comprehensive energy policy that can bring down gas prices,” Obama said in an interview with The Palm Beach Post during a tour of Florida.
"which in my opinion cannot be interpretted as a viable energy source for the country"

Well I'll rest easy you're not in any position to make that call. We should be pouring federal money hand over fist into renewable energy because it's terribly important for the economy, national security, the environment, and a whole host of issues.

To claim Obama is against producing energy is not spin or half-truth; it's a deliberate lie.

I checked the <a href="http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/factsheet_energy_speech_080308.pdf" rel="nofollow">Obama energy plan</a> and found specific calls for coal, oil, and natural gas production.
Obama does spend a lot of time talking about renewable energy, but it's important to note that even if he only talked about producing energy from renewable sources (which according to his energy plan and the quote above, he does not) Palin's still lying about Obama's stance on energy production.

This website is complete crap. In this instance you would have to know the meaning of "producing energy". The Obama plan calls for "renewable energy sources" which in my opinion cannot be interpretted as a viable energy source for the country. Palin on the other hand is talking about legitimate energy sources like oil, coal and natural gas which are proven.
